Kodo and the Niigata Taiko Groups have been rehearsing together for EC!

On Aug. 20 (Sat), Day 2 of EC 2022, three Niigata taiko groups and Kodo will perform Kodo One Earth Music piece “Haruka” together on the Harbour Concert main stage at 1:30pm, just before Kodo "Soyogu, Utau, Tataku." Come along early to enjoy this pre-show collaboration! Tickets are still available.

In late July, Kodo members took part in rehearsals with each of the three taiko groups selected to appear at EC. Everyone is full of excitement and eager to bring their energy to EC this year!
The rehearsals were a wonderful chance for everyone to chat, get to know each other, and ask questions. We look forward to seeing all four teams (Kodo included!) bringing their own unique flair to this special performance of "Haruka" at EC!
